Cave Nebula SHO

Sh2-155 also known as the Cave Nebula is a diffuse nebula in the constellation Cepheus. It lies within a larger nebula complex containing emission, reflection, and dark nebulosity. Sh2-155 is an ionized H II region with ongoing star formation activity, at an estimated distance of 2400 light-years from Earth.

Integration time: ~26 hrs of 600s exposures for NB and 60s for RGB from my Bortle 4/5 backyard

Telescope: Skywatcher Esprit 100 ED APO

Imaging Camera: ZWO ASI 2600MM

Guiding: Skywatcher EVOGuide Scope with ZWO ASI120MM camera

Filter: Optolong SHO and RGB filters

Mount: Skywatcher EQ6R-Pro

Calibration: Flats and flat darks

Hardware Control: ASIAIR Pro, Pegasus Power Box and ZWO EAF

Processing: The selected images were pre-processed and processed using Pixinsight.
